These simple animations try to show the relationship between the micro and the macro. This script, loads an image and the proceeds to zoom in and out of it as a way to examine the relationship between its different parts, between the building blocks of the image. At some point, the script reaches one pixel and at that point it begins to zoom out, as a way to see the whole image again. In the scripts ‘dots’, this zooming does not occur, and it is only when the user click on the screen that you are able to see the whole image.
The image becomes much more than the sume of its parts. Seeing its pixels, one by one, does not tell you anything about the image.
